The Gamma Omicron Omega Scholarship Foundation (GOOSF); founded on October 5, 2015, by the brothers of Gamma Omicron Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland. GOOSF was created as a 501c-3 non-profit to provide scholarships to disadvantaged students and academic achievers seeking higher education. Our vision is to meet the needs of the communities in which we serve and represent through being examples of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood. GOOSF provides acts as a gap filler and meets individuals where they are to assist in improving and positively affecting the lives of those we touch. In 2016, GOOSF presented Morgan State University with a check for $30,000 for scholarships at the 3rd annual gala. Over the past few years, the foundation has provided over $5,000 in scholarships to students on the basis of merit and need. Additionally, through its mentoring program -- 5-Star mentoring has assisted young men with learning conflict resolution, team building, and career exploration.

The annual gala is a fundraiser that the proceeds go to fund scholarships to local seniors continuing their educations. Scholarship recipients as well are honored this night with their families.
Our mentoring program provides guidance and leadership in areas like conflict resolution, how to effectively communicate, academic excellence, and career exploration. The program services young men between the ages of 10-17 years of age.
